Lydia has a passion for helping individuals live their lives to the fullest! Her journey started in South Africa as a gymnast with big dreams. She moved to Canada with her family at the age of ten and trained hard to become an elite gymnast. She continued her career as an NCAA gymnast competing for the University of California, Berkeley where she completed her degree in Child Development and Education. She rounded up her academic profile with a post-graduate certificate in Therapeutic Recreation, which gave her the knowledge and skills to work with individuals with special needs. She believes gymnastics is a phenomenal tool to help improve the quality of life of individuals with all abilities.
Anna currently coaches preschool, recreational, and preteam gymnastics. She was a competitive gymnast growing up and began coaching gymnastics in college. She attended the College of Charleston in South Carolina where she majored in Exercise Science. She then went on to get her certification in prosthetics and orthotics at Northwestern University. She came to the DMV area after her husband in the Navy became stationed at the Navy Yard. She has a passion for helping others achieve their mobility and activity goals.
